Ma tini, maa mano, ka rapa te whai. By joining together we will succeed. Unity is strength.
Operating with manākitanga and aroha is at the core of my mahi.
In my mahi I work hard to bring my best to enable others to see the best in themselves. Having worked across various industries and communities, I’ve added a multitude of work and life experiences, learnings, connections and tools to my kete. As a member of Senior Leadership teams, champion of globally dispersed teams and a learner of life, I bring different perspectives to the table.
My passion lies in aligning teams to strategy with a commercial focus, creating high-performing individuals, teams and an inclusive culture. With a background in people behaviour, experience in large corporates, a leader of diverse teams, and a mum of a busy whānau, I’m at my best working with people and teams who want to make shifts that impact performance, culture, engagement and capability.
I partner with you to design tailored solutions for organisational growth, streamlined operations and a competitive edge.
I work with leaders and teams to develop essential skills to develop high-performing environments and foster innovation.
I work with you to cultivate a positive, inclusive environment where employees thrive, collaboration flourishes and productivity soars.
Introducing Whakawhitinga:
Working in Partnership
I am co-founder of Whakawhitinga, a consulting partnership anchored in Māori values designed to improve outcomes for whānau and communities through championing diverse and inclusive leadership across Aotearoa.
As a partnership, we see our role as supporting and uplifting internal capabilities so that our clients create the habits and practices to sustain important mahi long after we have finished our work together. My colleagues and I are highly skilled at building engagement and alignment that enables organisations to execute their strategic intent and achieve their goals.
Whakawhitinga holds the sense of a journey—a transition or crossing to a new way of knowing. Through partnership and accountability, people and connections, and a focus on future-fit progression, we see our work as an experience that will serve the people and place in which we collectively operate.
The logo shows the poutama pattern, known as the stairway to heaven in Māori weaving. Poutama has strong educational and spiritual significance. The stepping pattern represents progression and ascent to higher levels of achievement and progress, as well as the constant pursuit of improvement.
Together, these tell the story of who we are and what we aspire to achieve.
